Mental Health Services

1. SUPERVISION:
   Pain Connection is now offering supervision to mental health professionals interested in working with chronic pain clients. Call the office for information and fees.

2. SPECIALIZED THERAPY GROUP:
   Pain Connection has been collaborating with a local pain management clinic, Pain and Rehabilitation Medicine,in providing therapeutic services to an ongoing chronic pain therapy group. Some of the topics to be discussed are: self management of pain, depression and anxiety, relationships, the healing process and redefining what is normal. Relaxation techniques, guided imagery and meditation are also being taught.
   
   The group is being led by Pain Management Specialists/Clinical Social Workers, Gwenn Herman and Mona Mendelson.
   
   * The fee per session is $80.00. Many insurance companies cover group therapy, the extent of coverage depends on individual policies.
