Support Group

The Chronic Pain Support Group provides a forum for people handicapped by pain, isolated and alienated by pain, frustrated by lack of services dealing with the emotional aspect of physical pain, and demoralized by changes in careers, families, and society.

Different modalities are used in the support group such as: developing coping skills, decision making models, role-playing, assertiveness training, guided imagery, and relaxation techniques.

Family members, significant others and interested community members are welcome to attend and participate in the support group.

Montgomery County

The Montgomery County Group Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at:

The Prince George's County Chronic Pain Support Group meetings will be held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at:

Take the BALT/WASH PKWY NORTH exit- EXIT 22A- toward BALTIMORE. Merge onto MD-295 N. Take the MD-193 E exit toward NASA GODDARD/GLEN DALE. Turn LEFT onto MD-193 E/GREENBELT RD. The Anne Arundel County Chronic Pain Support Group meetings will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
